Switzerland and EU draw a line under corporate tax row

BERNE: Switzerland and the European Union stepped closer on Tuesday to resolving a near-decade long dispute over corporate tax rates, a sign of cooperation between the two amid friction over immigration policy.

The pair signed an agreement, announced late last month, which outlined Switzerland’s intention to propose scrapping long-cherished rules on corporate tax.
