Decision on international information exchange FATCA agreement
The Minister of Finance has announced a decision on international information exchange based on the FATCA agreement.
This decision contains a publication of the concluded in November 2015 between the competent authorities of the Netherlands and the US administrative arrangements for the practical application of the FATCA agreement EN-US 2013 regarding the automatic exchange of financial account information. The regulation contains a number of practical arrangements including information about the FATCA registration of Dutch financial institutions, the timing and means of information exchange, (errors) repair and maintenance, as well as confidentiality and data protection.
