FATCA IGA between Turkey and the U.S. has been signed

The U.S. Department of the Treasury on its webpage that is dedicated to FATCA has published the FATCA Agreement that was concluded between the Government of the United States and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.

The agreement is a so-called Model 1 IGA.

Already in June 2014 the Government of the United States and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, reached an agreement in substance regarding a FATCA IGA to be concluded. Based on the information provided by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the FATCA Agreement between The United States and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines was signed on July 29, 2015.
