Isle of Cowes tax haven and luxury hotel planned
AMBITIOUS plans to create a tax haven and luxury hotel on Cowes outer breakwater have been revealed today (Wednesday).
The plans would see the outer breakwater being extended and renamed as Isle of Cowes.
A spokesman said: “Much work, time and effort has gone into the construction of “Isle of Cowes”.
“Once the base construction has settled, further construction is being investigated to provide Cowes with an offshore Tax Haven. Plans include a hotel, Marina, Cafe, Beach bar and an underwater restaurant.
“Much like the roads on the Isle of Wight that get dug up, resurfaced and repaired one minute, only to be dug up a week later by another company, Cowes Roads with its “Isle of Cowes” will be no different.
“Now the project is nearly finished. plans are to dig part of it out so as to provide space to build an underwater facility in the hotel. This will include a restaurant, premium hotel rooms with glass ceilings and a secure bunker in case of invasion by pirates.”
